Hello guys, learn more about the five passengers who tragically died during a deep-sea expedition to see the Titanic wreckage.
Titan Submarine Missing :
This morning, an ROV, or remotely operated vehicle, discovered the tail cone of the Titanic submersible approximately 1600 feet from the bow of the Titanic on the seafloor on behalf of the United States Coast Guard and the entire unified command.
I offer my deepest condolences to the families. On Thursday, the Coast Guard discovered debris from the missing OceanGate vessel after days of searching.
Five men have now been declared dead, including the CEO and founder of Ocean Gate, Stockton Rush, who sought to explore the ocean’s Mysteries by creating a new submarine craft that would give scientists and tourists access to the ocean floor and the infamous ship wreckage.
It’s a very unusual business; it’s its own category; it’s a new type of travel. Stockton has another unique connection to the Titanic: his wife Wendy’s grandparents died during the sinking after they chose to stay aboard the ship to help others escape.
Hamish Harding was also an avid explorer. Not only did he hold several Guinness World Records, including the longest distance travelled across the deepest parts of the ocean,I love adventure.
I’ve been lucky enough to get opportunities in my life to do adventurous things. He was also one of six people on the Blue Origin space mission in June 2022.
Businessman Shazada Darwood and his 19-year-old son Suleiman were on the Expedition as part of a father’s day trip. The men were members of one of Pakistan’s wealthiest families.
Shazada’s sister told that Shuliman was terrified before the Excursion and wasn’t very up for it. The final passenger, Paul Henry Nagley, was named Titanic’s greatest Explorer by Ocean Gate.
He was the director of underwater research for RMS Titanic Incorporated, a company that operates exhibits featuring artefacts from the ship, and his work resulted in the recovery of nearly 6, 000 Titanic artefacts.
Ocean Gate remembered the deceased in a statement. These men were true explorers who shared a distinct spirit of adventure and a deep passion for exploring and protecting the wartime oceans. We grieved the loss of life and joy they brought to everyone they knew.
