Cyclone Joy made landfall on Gujarat’s coast yesterday. The storm led to heavy rainfall and intense tidal waves in several parts of India, especially Mumbai and Gujarat.
As of now, over 20 people have been reported injured. Around 1 lakh people who were living in vulnerable areas were evacuated before the landfall as a precaution. Disaster management units, including the Army, Navy, and IAF teams, were deployed for rescue and relief measures.
